Past few days baru je cakap pasal calcium.
Kebetulan dalam column HealthSmart ada
tulis pasal calcium...
"Is calcium good or bad?"
Stated in one of the phrase that people always assume
calcium is gooooooooood for health.
But actually calcium also might be bad
for our health especially heart.
*Gullpp...meaning that I've the risk too.
This fact somehow scares me a bit.
Recent analylis yang dibuat proved that
daily supplement which consist of
1000 mg of calcium plus 400 IU of vitamin D
increased 22% of the risk to gain heart problem!
This fact specially concerned to calcium in pill form.
The pill would prevent three fractures but
cause six heart attack or strokes.
Ooooo...no! Such scary facts.
Then in the last paragraph suggested that
the best ways to get calcium are through
food or supplements that no more than
600mg daily...Ya Allah
I run to my bottle reading the descriptions.
Such a relief when it shown that mine is 600mg :)
